Perth, and the people in it
Our Perth advisers work with people across Perth, including the CBD, West Perth, Subiaco, Nedlands and the inner suburbs, and clients throughout Western Australia.
Our Perth office is one of our largest, and a good deal of its work is shaped by the resources sector. Salaried professionals, contractors, and a substantial number of people working fly-in fly-out rosters across the Pilbara, the Goldfields and offshore.
FIFO income is high, taxed heavily and finite, and the roster makes ordinary financial admin difficult to keep on top of. The households who convert those years into lasting wealth are the ones who set a structure early and stuck to it. The ones who do not tend to arrive at fifty with a good income, a large mortgage and not much else.

Five stages,
not five hundred pages.
The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. From there it’s a documented process, and you see the reasoning at every step rather than a recommendation landing on your desk.

At the heart of advice is the desire to make people’s lives better. Compassion, support, empowerment. It is rarely ever just about money.

Questions people ask us in Perth
Do you only work with people in the Perth CBD?
No. Our Perth office works with clients right across Western Australia, and a good number who live further afield again. Some come in, some meet by video, and most do a mix of the two.
Which areas do you cover from the Perth office?
Perth and the surrounding area, including the CBD, West Perth, Subiaco, Nedlands and the inner suburbs, and clients throughout Western Australia. If you are further out, we can meet by video or arrange to come to you.
Can I meet by phone or video instead of coming in?
Yes, and plenty of our Perth clients do. The advice is the same either way. Most people mix the two: an initial meeting in person, then reviews by video.
What does financial advice cost?
Fees depend on how complex your situation is and what you need. We quote in writing before you engage, so you decide with the number in front of you rather than after the fact. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation.
Do I have enough money to need an adviser?
Advice tends to matter most at moments of change rather than at a particular balance. Retiring, selling a business or a property, an inheritance, a redundancy, a separation. If you are facing a decision you cannot easily undo, that is usually the point, whatever the number.
Can you help with Age Pension and Centrelink?
Yes. Working out entitlements, how assets and income are assessed, and how a decision about super or an investment affects what you receive is a routine part of retirement advice.
Are your Perth advisers qualified?
Yes. All of our advisers meet the education, training and ethical standards required to give personal financial advice in Australia and appear on ASIC's Financial Advisers Register. Individual qualifications are listed on each adviser's profile.
What is a best interests duty?
It is a legal obligation to act in your best interests when giving personal advice, and to put your interests ahead of ours wherever the two could conflict. It is the reason a recommendation has to be documented with the reasoning behind it rather than simply asserted.
Do you also do home loans?
Yes, through our Perth lending team. Advice and lending sit in the same group, so if you are weighing up a mortgage alongside a retirement or investment decision, both conversations can happen together.
Perth advice, from people who live here.
Thirty minutes. In our office, at your kitchen table, or by video. No fee, no obligation. You will leave knowing more than when you started, even if you never come back.
